Narrow House in Horinouchi by Mizuishi Architect Atelier
I'm sure you lot're probably wondering if you're seeing right. This house has a very unusual shape. It's a narrow building that seems to be a decoupage from a larger building. It's really an independent construction and this is the design that the owners have chosen for their home. The house was a projection designed by Japanese studio Mizuishi Architect Atelier and it's located in Horinouchi.
View in gallery The residence is a two-storey home and t was built for a family unit of three. It covers 595 square feet of property and it sits on a triangular lot situated betwixt a river and a route in Suginami, ane of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Nihon. Considering of the unusual shape of the lot, the business firm had to modify the typical design and adapt it to the conditions available. This meant that the business firm had to be very narrow. In order to recoup with that, a second floor was added to brand room for extra space.
